    我們很高興被評為2023-2026年「Apple傑出學校」,以表彰我們透過持續創新激發、想像和影響全校的教學和學習。本校展現了運用科技輔助學習的願景,能運用科技在教與學上皆展現啟發力、想像力與影響力。並透過自攜裝置(BYOD)的政策,讓每位學生擁有自己的學習工具,引領他們與世界接軌,激發創意、培養協作能力,並達成因材施教的個人化學習。

    每人也有權利接受教育,只要有適當工具,有特殊教育需要的學生也能好好學習。科技正好協助他們衝破障礙,所以我們致力發展電子教學,亦培養學生運用科技的能力,啟發他們的思考,為急速轉變的世界作好準備。

    Tech-enhanced education for our changing world

    We believe that Everyone has the right to be educated, and everyone can learn. With the right assistive tools, students with special needs can also succeed. Technology eliminates limitations of space, time, and location. Using technology to communicate with schools in mainland China during the pandemic.

     

    透過課程規劃以電子學習提升學生學習動機

    近年更逐步擴大使用校本的電子課本及電子學習資源的程度,進一步將電子學習融入各科目及整個校本課程。讓電子學習融入學校生活,促進自主學習。

    Enhancing students' learning motivation through curriculum planning with e-learning

    In recent years, there has been a gradual expansion in the level of using school-based e-textbooks and e-learning resources, further integrating e-learning into various subjects and the entire school curriculum. This allows e-learning to become an integral part of school life, promoting self-directed learning.

    激發學習的環境與設施

    學生對科技產品發展很有興趣,我們積極在學校環境加入新元素,讓學生有機會應用科技輔助學習。學校迎合大部份學生的喜好,設計了移動圖書館計劃,把圖書館改建成巴士圖書館,配合課室的電子白板進行跨課程教學,也把傳統的電腦室改造成 Mac Lab 及 Pixel Hub,更善用樓梯空間,利用 IoT 聲控變色燈進行 IT 及藝術活動。

    Students have a keen interest in the development of technology products, and we actively incorporate new elements into the school environment to provide students with opportunities to utilize technology for learning. To cater to the preferences of the majority of students, the traditional classsrooms have been renovated into Bus Library, Mac Lab and Pixel Hub.

    賦予學生善用科技的權利

    讓他們在學習過程中選擇,進行個人化及自主的學習。本校使用RainbowStar、ReadingStar電子學習平台進行教學,教師製作的互動電子書可以讓學生在平台的「書店」上利用自己的iPad自行下載教材進行學習,各科教師在平台上根據學生能力,設立自學課程,學生可根據自己的喜好、能力及學習進度進行學習。

     

    Empowering students with the right to utilize technology

    Teachers allow them to choose and engage in personalized and self-directed learning. Our school utilizes the RainbowStar and ReadingStar e-learning platforms for instruction. Teachers create interactive e-books that enable students to download learning materials from the bookstore on the platform using their own iPads.

    學校使用RainbowStar電子學習平台進行教學,一邊上課,一邊收集學生作答數據。教師能隨時查閲學生作答情況了解學習表現,為課堂及教學進行調整,按學生學習表現及進度,時刻反思自己的教學表現,學生的難點、目標的調整,改進教學。透過優化課堂計劃分享共同備課及教學成果。

    Teachers simultaneously collecting student response data while conducting lessons. Subject teachers on the platform establish self-learning courses based on students' abilities. Students can pursue learning according to their preferences, abilities, and learning progress.

    學校積極發展資訊科技教育

    學校現為特殊學校暨資源中心,每年均舉辦工作坊、開放課堂,可在學校網頁報名,也為錄取有特殊教育需要學生的主流學校提供教師訓培,分享學校在電子教學的成功經驗,並教授他們為有特殊需要的學生製作電子教材,也會到香港教育大學、學與教博覽及不同學校進行工作坊及分享,推廣電子教學。

    Promote information technology in education

    Our school serves as a Special School cum Resource Centre. Our school also provides teacher training for mainstream schools with students with special educational needs, sharing the successful experiences in e-learning and teaching them how to create e-resources for students with special educational needs. Workshops and sharing sessions are conducted at our school, the Education University of Hong Kong, Learning and teaching expos, and various schools to promote e-learning.

     

    特殊需要學生使用自携裝置的輔助使用功能學習

    在一般課堂中,教師最常用指導模式、讀屏及放大功能輔助學習。學生專注能力較弱,為改善學生不專心上課的問題,教師會在有特別需要的學生的iPad,開啟指導模式上課,令他們在學習時專注在指定的應用程式;做練習時,教師會利用讀屏功能協助認字能力較弱的學生理解題目;也會使用放大功能,放大講授的重點。

    Students with special needs use assistive functions of self-portable devices to learn

    In general classrooms, teachers most commonly use guided mode, screen reading, and zoom functions to assist learning. Since some students have weak concentration ability, in order to improve the problem of students not paying attention in class, teachers will turn on the guidance mode on the iPads of students with special needs so that they can focus on the designated applications while studying; when doing exercises, teachers will He will use the screen reading function to help students with weak word recognition ability understand the questions; he will also use the zoom function to magnify the key points of the lecture.

    Our school implements the spirit of LPCS (LOVE PATIENCE CARE SUPPORT), is student-centered, values ​​the overall development of students, and provides them with diverse learning experiences; it actively establishes a caring and inclusive campus environment and teaches them respect and appreciation.     共創未來 ‧ 共享資源 ‧ 達致共融。本校一直致力推動電子教學,發展了一系列教學平台,能有效協助教師照顧學生學習差異,收集學生學習數據,在中小特學校廣泛應用。近年全校師生均利用自攜裝置配合相關產品上課,令教學效能大為提高;目前期望能擔任資訊科技的先驅者,利用經驗分享及不同形式的支援,向教育界及公眾推廣應用資訊科技於學、教、評的良好教學實踐,感染到其他教育工作者,用科技去照顧學習多樣性。我們十分關注特殊教育的發展與創新,釋放學生與生俱來的創造力,激勵他們用創新改造未來。

    Our school has been committed to promoting elearning and has developed a series of teaching platforms that can effectively assist teachers in taking care of students' learning differences and collect student learning data, which are widely used in special schools, primary and secondary schools. In recent years, all teachers and students in the school have used self-portable devices,“Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)”, in conjunction with related products to teach, which has greatly improved teaching efficiency. Currently, we hope to be a pioneer in information technology educaiton, using experience sharing and different forms of support to promote the application of information technology in special education and the public. The good teaching practices of learning, teaching and assessment have infected other educators and used technology to take care of the diversity of learning. We pay great attention to the development and innovation of special education, releasing students’ innate creativity and inspiring them to use innovation to transform the future.
